Job Summary- Provide the analysis & research to support proposed changes within a geographical area of responsibility
- Focus on creating ways to accommodate the scheduled movement of freight in a timely & cost effective manner
- Planning tools to be used include reports, access databases, excel & sequel spreadsheets
- LTL experience with analysis of freight, handling, coordination & scheduling
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- College degree or equivalent work experience in transportation desired
- LTL transportation experience required
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Must be self-directed and able to multi-task in a fast-paced team environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- LTL experience with analysis of freight, handling, coordination & scheduling
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Access and Powerpoint
- AS400 experience preferred
