Job Summary
- Provide analysis & research to support rail movements, coordination of rail & tracking of equipment used on rails
- Data entry of fuel & trip card information for payroll & accounts payable
- Will focus on creating ways to accommodate the scheduled movement of freight in a timely & cost effect manner
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- College degree or equivalent work experience in transportation desired
- Must have thorough knowledge of computer programs
- LTL experience with analysis of freight, handling, coordination,, scheduling or rail movements desired
- Must be a quick learning team player, be self motivated & detail oriented with excellent problem solving skills
- Ability to communicate ideas well
- Extensive experience with intermodal/rail movement of freight required
- Excellent data entry & computer skills is a must including Microsoft Word, Excel & Access
